Powdercoat Specialists is Dennis and Katy Bean-Larson. No surprise here, right?

This enterprise grew out of our very positive experiences with a local powdercoating sub-contractor and our desire to bring affordable powdercoating to a wider group of cyclists. Between our own projects and those of our friends we'd personally seen over twentyfive frames that have been coated here in Traverse City even before Powdercoat Specialists was formed at the beginning of 2008, and we'd always been impressed with the quality and durability of their work.

Dennis provides his knowledge of bikes, design, and business marketing together to ensure that your frame and fork gets a quality powdercoating at an affordable price, and that you're back riding it in a minimum of time. Katy is helping with the books, transporting frames - and besides, her FGG #379 was the first bike we had powdercoated back in 2003.

Providing quality custom finishes and fast turnaround to both individuals and the industry, we look forward to finishing your frame.
