Powdercoat Studio ... Over 400 frames refinished since 2007.
We specialize in custom powdercoating of all kinds of bicycle frames and components at affordable prices. Each frame is carefully sandblasted to remove old paint and corrosion and a generous polymer coating is applied. Your frame and fork are then cured at 350F which produces an extremely hard durable coating that will remain bright and crisp for years.

Better than new, and twice as durable.
$130.00 for Frame & Fork.
All basic colors are at this one price,
plus we're now including headtube and bottom bracket facing
at no additional charge.
Candy Colors, Metallics, and Sparkles are $140.00, because of the additional under or top coatings required,
There are literally hundreds of colors and textures available from Tiger Dry-Lac, one of the world's leading producers of polyester powder coatings. And for a hundred and thirty bucks that's .... Holy smokes ..... over seventy-five colors to pick from!
Sorry, but we don't offer any frame work or component installations at this time.
We can powdercoat your stem, seatpost, handlebars, and some other components, but be aware that our coatings may change the way some parts fit back together (such as chainrings to crankarms). We do not powdercoat hubs unless you are responsible for spokehole and bearing interfaces. Average cost for any single item like a handlebar is $25. Extra forks are $25. Bikes like a Surly Big Dummy or a tandem average around $150. Call for a quote.
Custom Wheelsets
We are now offering custom powdercoated Velocity DeepV wheelsets. Available only in 32H Non-Machined Sidewall, these are available in any of our colors. When you get your frame done, you can also get a wheelset to match. How cool is that? Wheelsets available separately too.
We can build them up just the way you want...with your choice of hubs, type and color of spokes. All custom built by the wheelsmiths at VelocityUSA. Check out the Wheelset page for all the options.
Municipal Bike Racks
We have two styles of Municipal Bike Racks available, one for surface mount and an in-ground model that's installed in a 2 1/4" core-drilled hole through existing concrete or in new construction. Both are available in any of our powdercoat colors.
Check the rack page for the whole scoop.
From Our Customers
from Bill: Absolutely fabulous. The candy red powdercoat is just terrific, I got compliments on my first ride and it totally made my day. Thanks for the first-rate finish and fast delivery.
From Don: Hi Dennis--I just got the bike + parts and everything is absolutely gorgeous. I opened the forks first and couldn't believe my eyes. Beyond Killer!! I have those same forks on a bike in my living room (mid 90's DK cruiser w/ Pitchforks) that are mint because they sat in box since '99 until I installed them a month ago; they don't look half as sweet as your's and I'm bummed cause I already put the retro Pitchfork stickers on them. I got some retro S&M frame decals for the frame, which looks super sweet, as do the Odyssey brakes. I'll have the bike finished in 2 weeks and send pics of that and your old house. My buddies are gonna fiend when they see this!!! (Hard to believe I graduated in '84) That DK has the same S&M bars brand new and black powdercoated lookin hideous in comparison to yours. I have 3 other bikes that will eventually come your way and I'll recommend you to all. Thank you so much Dennis!!!! Don
From Amy: The frame is a 51cm steel lugged ’86 Trek off ebay. I cleaned the frame up (removed braze-ons and eyelets) before sending the bike off for powdercoating. You guys did a terrific job for a terrific price. I’ve received wonderful compliments wherever I ride and have been recommending you to several friends.
